Your plans are personal. Here is how Fold handles them.

1. Who provides Fold

Fold is provided by VX2209, the developer name of AUTO TRYB NEUMANN SP Z O O, Poland. This policy covers the Fold Android app, this website, and support correspondence. For privacy questions, contact anatolijdedovec@gmail.com.

2. Information stored by the Android app

The app stores trip names, destinations you type, dates, packing lists, item quantities and weights, packed status, essential-item flags, archived trips, and your weight-display preference in its private storage on your device. These details are used to provide the packing planner.

The app does not transmit this information to the developer or to third parties. It does not have accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, or remote crash reporting. It does not request internet access or access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, device identifiers, or information about other apps.

3. Local storage, retention, and deletion

Your app data stays on the device until you delete a trip or item, use More → Erase all local data, clear app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Fold disables Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup. It does not sync or restore lists to another device.

App storage is protected by Android's application sandbox. Fold does not offer its own password lock. Anyone who can unlock your device and open Fold may be able to view your lists. See deletion instructions.

4. This website

The public Fold website uses Google Firebase Hosting. Google's infrastructure processes incoming requests, including IP addresses, to deliver the pages, protect against abuse, and operate the hosting service. Google states that Firebase Hosting retains IP data for a few months. See Firebase's privacy and security information.

We do not add analytics, advertising pixels, tracking cookies, registration forms, or third-party font requests to this website. This website does not receive data from the Android app. Hosting infrastructure may process data in countries other than your own under Google's applicable service terms and safeguards.

5. Contacting support

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. Our email provider processes the correspondence so we can read and respond to it. Please do not send passwords, identification documents, or unnecessary sensitive information.

Support messages are used to answer requests and resolve issues. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations. You can request deletion by emailing the same support address. We do not use support messages for advertising or sell personal data.

6. Your choices and rights

You can use the app without providing data to the developer and delete local app data at any time. We cannot retrieve, correct, or delete lists stored only on your device from a server. For information provided through support, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.

We handle support correspondence to respond to your request and provide assistance. Website request data is processed to deliver and protect the website. Where legally required, we rely on the applicable lawful basis for those purposes, including our legitimate interests in providing support and a secure website.

7. Children and changes

Fold is a general-purpose travel planning utility and is not directed specifically at children. The app does not collect personal information from users. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We will update this policy if the app, website, or support data practices change. The effective date is shown above.
